Kaitlin Patzig, RN, “Katie,” Katie has been a nurse for (15) years; She started her career in the NICU for (12) years, part of that time traveling the country to work in various hospitals such as Children’s Hospital in Houston and UCLA in Los Angeles. After coming back to Texas and having her own daughter, Katie found a new perspective as a Nurse in what it truly means to care for someone.

After COVID, Katie began searching for a nursing position that allowed more flexible hours as a mom, that’s when she uncovered Infusion Nursing! For the past (3) years, Katie has been treating patients in their homes, in clinics, with various IV therapies. For Katie, it’s not just about the medication, she gets the opportunity to truly get to know the patient and feels so honored when she gains their trust and patients allow her into their homes. For Katie, there is nothing more rewarding than helping the patient feel better physically, emotionally, and turning them into a friend!
